Chinese Ambassador to Malawi Shi Ting Wang has commended Axa Bus Service for providing convenient and affordable transport services.
Shi Ting was speaking in Lilongwe when Agma Holdings, Axa’s parent company, celebrated 10 years of running Axa coaches in the country.
Shi Ting further hailed the bilateral relationship between Malawi and China.
“China and Malawi are good friends. China is committed to you. Our cooperation is beyond infrastructure,” Shi Ting said.
Agma Holdings Limited Chairperson, Mark Katsonga, attributed the success to focus on customer satisfaction.
“We started as a coach operator in 2006. After one year, we started handling mail. We are now operating a transport and logistics company,” Katsonga said.
The company has since bought three new coaches, one to operate between Lilongwe and Mzuzu while the other two will be operating between Lilongwe and Blantyre.
