Chibuku Products Limited, a Subsidiary of SABMiller Africa, has described as overwhelming the response from consumers during the time the company was running a promotion for its Chibuku Super beer, dubbed Tiamwere Promotion.

Speaking on Friday in Mangochi when he officially handed over a motor cycle to a Balaka-based winner in the promotion Peter Bauleni, CPL operations manager, Sam Liwewe, said the company has managed to register increased sales volume through the promotion.

He said the company was also happy that through the competition, it has managed to change lives of some of its customers through generous prizes.

“We will continue doing this because as a company we understand that we cannot survive without customers,” said Liwewe.

He revealed that although the competition had officially come to an end, there were still three motorcycles which were yet to be won and that the company will wait until March 31 to receive claims from customers.

“Shelf life for Chibuku Super is 21 days and we hope that some lucky customers will be able to find the prize as they consume the product up to 31 March,” said Liwewe.

Sixteen motor cycles were up for grabs in the promotion while other prizes included bicycles, bags of fertilizer, Hi-Fi systems, cell phones and shopping vouchers.

The promotion has been running since November 2015
