Chibuku supports product retailers

Post was last updated: September 4, 2015

Chibuku SABMiller has rolled out a new programme to support retailers of its products through linkages with banks, insurers and mobile phone companies to help them boost their businesses.

Through the initiative, the company will also be negotiating business partnerships between its retailers and other stakeholders to enable them offer other services.

The initiative was launched at the National Bank of Malawi (NBM) Training Centre in Blantyre on Wednesday during a ceremony which was attended by representatives of various commercial banks in the country.

Chibuku SABMiller’s business consultant, Wise Chauluka, said the programme is aimed at helping traders get connected to service providers to support their businesses.

“The growth of the retailers is in the interest of both the entrepreneurs and the company,”  said Chauluka.
