HIWA—The app is ready for download

In a quest to enhance digital transactions among its corporate clients, First Capital Bank (FCB) Malawi has launched a mobile banking application dubbed Corporate App.

A statement released by the bank recently indicates that the innovation is a convergence of the functionality of its internet banking platform and the user friendliness of a mobile application to give a totally unparalleled experience to the corporate users.

“The app comes with the same security features as well as authorisation matrix built for internet banking. All that is improving is the convenience and simplicity of use as is typified with mobile applications,” reads the statement in part.

First Capital Bank Acting Chief Commercial Officer, Ewen Hiwa, said the app is currently ready for download on Google PlayStore for Android devices and AppStore for Apple devices.

“The corporate app is an application that can be used on mobile devices such as a mobile phone or tablet by authorised company users to manage their accounts in much the same way as they do on internet banking only that the app brings a more supreme user experience,” Hiwa said.

This comes three weeks after the bank launched another innovation called Infini-Pay, a seamless bulk payment solution targeted at businesses that handle large volume payments.
