GOtv price tag cut to K17,000
GOTV Malawi has announced a massive price reduction for its decoder set from K34,100 to K16, 999.
MultiChoice Malawi Sales and Marketing Manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda confirmed the development yesterday saying the promotion will run until stocks last.
Nyirenda said GOtv Malawi has slashed the offer price to show its continued commitment to provide Malawians with affordable digital services.
He said that the price cut has also coincided with plans to launch the product in Mzuzu next week.
“As part of our commitment to assist with the digital migration in Malawi and to allow consumers access to digital television at a price everyone can afford, we have introduced this subsidised decoder price special of K16,999 for a GOtv decoder, a GOtv antenna plus one month GOtv Plus subscription,” said Nyirenda.
He said the price cut is open to all customers in the three regions of the country adding that customers also stand a chance of winning a flat screen TV through the ‘Finding Malawi’s Working Oldest TV,’ competition.
“All you need to do is to take a picture of your current TV together with your GOtv decoder and load it on to the GOtv Malawi Facebook page. Prices will be awarded to one lucky subscriber from Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu,” he said
