Indaba to assess insurance sector

The 2015 Annual Charter Dinner organised by the Insurance Institute of Malawi will be held this Saturday February 28 at Mount Soche in Blantyre with the agenda to tackle emerging issues in the industry.

IIM Organising Committee Deputy Events Officer Golden Jamu said the dinner will provide an opportunity for insurers to interact and share notes on how best to improve operations.

“As you are aware, the world is changing and many issues are emerging. We want to sit down in a relaxed environment to discuss how best we can handle the emerging issues,” said Jamu.

The event will also see IIM inducting the 2015 Executive Council as well as awarding students in the industry who have qualified in various insurance courses at different levels.

Anti-Corruption Bureau Director Lucas Kondowe is expected to be the guest of honour at the event.
