Malawi Institute of Management (MIM) has introduced new programmes with localised fees pegged at K400,000 for undergraduate programmes and K900,000 for post-graduate courses per semester.

The new programmes include Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Marketing, bachelor of Arts, Human Resource Management, Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Management Studies.

Addressing a news conference in Lilongwe on Monday, MIM Director of Training and Consultancy, Golden Msilimba, said the fees is localised to enable many people afford the courses unlike when the fees is charged in foreign currency.

“We have introduced the new programmes to address skills and knowledge gap in the civil service and private sector,” Msilimba said.

Msilimba said MIM is a stable higher education institution since it was established by an act of parliament.

“MIM has vast experience in managing trainings since 2003 through its partner institutions and its teaching is linked and supported by research,” Msilimba said.
