Mybucks touts SMEs services – The Times Group Malawi

Mybucks Banking Cooperation has reiterated its commitment to working with Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (SMEs) in the country to help them sustainably grow their businesses.

MyBucks Managing Director, Zandile Shaba said working with SMEs is critical as they contribute towards national economic development.

She said using a diverse services and products from the bank, most SMEs have seen their businesses grow.

“It is pleasing to realise that as a bank, we are making positive strides towards attaining one of our strategic intent encapsulated in our vision of becoming the best bank in Malawi in terms of social impact,” she said.

One of the customers, Paliani Kamoto, who trades under the “Kamoto Investments”, hailed the bank for what he said helping him grow his business.

He started his auto parts business about 20 years ago.

Kamoto said the bank has been offering solutions that help in risk management and ease cross-border transactions.

“Every time I am in need of forex or want to buy things online or via LC’s, MyBucks delivers. In addition, their Flex Online internet banking enables me to manage my accounts 24/7, hence simplifies the way I do business,” Kamoto said.

Kamoto then urged fellow SMEs to be prudent in financial management, if they are to see their businesses grow.

MyBucks Malawi has branches in Blantyre, Lilongwe, Mzuzu, Zomba, Mangochi, Dzaleka, Kasungu and Madisi.

It has a delivery channel of 17 branches, 78 agents, and 30 ATMS across the country, offering a full range of banking products and services that include Bancassurance and microfinance products.
