National Bank supports lake gatherings

Post was last updated: September 5, 2015

National Bank of Malawi (NBM) has given out a total of K2.5 million to four professional bodies to help towards preparations of their annual lake conferences.

The bank has made donations to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM), Chartered Institute of Marketers Malawi, the Institute of Procurement and Supply and Institute of Internal Auditors.

NBM risk manager, Charles Ulaya, said the bank decided to support the professional bodies because of the role they play in addressing economic issues in the country.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, ICAM chief executive officer, Evelyn Mwapasa, thanked NBM for the assistance.
