The firm is called Cyber Sofonet.
Sofonet Managing Director, Wezzie Lukhele, said their main focus will be to offer ser vices in digital forensics, software engineering, networking and entire cyber security.
Lukhere said the recent surge in cyber crimes is a reason enough for companies to consider strengthening their security systems.
“Cyber Sofonet was established with the aim of bringing sanity, confidence and tr ust in the computing industry by providing cyber defense through cyber security against threats, insider and outsider.
“We provide ser vices that include; penet r a tion testing, bug fixing and digital forensic Investigations,” Lukhere said.
He was quick to point out that cyber attacks are dynamic and evolving in that the attackers assess the strengths of their targets, hence the need for companies to continue evaluating their system security.
“Each day has its challenges and there is no general solution accorded to each customer’s specific requirement. Therefore, the job brings new challenges, which would give us the opportunity to factor in new capabilities and new skill sets into interventions,” Lukhele said.
He commended government for enacting an Act in response to the growing cybercrime in the country.
