PMI launches medical scheme – The Times Group
By Llywellenie Mpasa:
One of the insurance service providers, Precious Medical International (PMI), has unveiled an ambitious campaign which aims at providing medical insurance with no shortfalls for essential and emergency treatment.
Dubbed ‘Mwafika Medical Scheme Mbambande’, the campaign will ensure that Malawians have seamless access to quality healthcare when they need it most, without the burden of unexpected costs.
PMI Chief Executive Officer Getrude Mateyo said it is a stride towards enhancing healthcare and overall wellness for the people of Malawi.
“We believe that a nation’s well-being is not solely dependent on access to medical care during times of illness but also on its ability to thrive economically and overcome the challenges of everyday life.
“The campaign signals a promising future for Malawi, where healthcare and holistic wellness are seamlessly integrated to foster a healthier, more prosperous society,” Mateyo said.
Budget Insurance Broker representative Sunganani Jere attested to the exceptional service PMI has consistently delivered since 2019.
“PMI’s commitment to quality and reliability in the healthcare sector has made a significant difference for us and the individuals we serve. Their dedication to excellence in healthcare and insurance solutions has been instrumental in ensuring the well-being of our members of staff, and we are grateful for their partnership,” Jere said.
