Post was last updated: December 25, 2015

Superior Food Markets has donated assorted food items to children admitted for various ailments at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre.

The items, valued at K500,000, are part of celebrations for Superior Food Supermarket which opened its doors on Wednesday.

Superior Food Market marketing manager, Yvonne Mambo, said the shop – which is near QECH, is patronised by some of the guardians at the hospital, hence it is necessary to giv back to the community that has helped the company grow.

During the donation, the company involved Superior Rugby team players in cheering and motivating the children.
