TNM to venture into ICT services

Mobile service provider TNM Limited will from next year start providing ICT services to Malawians.

TNM Chief Commercial Officer Dan Makata said this on Friday during a TNM employee’s early Christmas party held at College of Medicine Sports Complex in Blantyre.

“We will be a complete communication services provider not only on mobile phones but on all communication services in the country.

“Our license has just been renewed and the new license gives us a mandate to provide all ICT services in the country. Our role now is to insure that we are providing such services that would give an opportunity to improve our communication services

He said the party was organised as one way of celebrating TNM’s success in 2014.

“At TNM, the year 2014 has been one of our wonderful years because it is a year that we have been successful in our four key performance areas that we set,” he said.

Makata said the company was able to grow its network, customer base and also certify its customers.

He further said TNM has this year managed to change the network in Lilongwe and that this is going to continue countrywide so that Malawians are provided with better services.
