Vanguard Life trains sales reps
Vanguard Life Assurance Company Limi ted on Monday organised a day-long workshop for its sales agents from the Southern Region.
Speaking in an interview at the start of the training programme, Vanguard Life Managing Director Noah Mupfurutsa said his organisation believes in conducting such trainings as one way of adding value to their human capital.
“Our agents are drawn from different places, different experiences and, therefore, it is important for us to bring them together so that we can standardise the approach we have for business,” he said.
Mupfurutsa said similar trainings would be conducted in the central and northern regions.
“We want to continuously develop our agents and ensure that when they go out, they do not misrepresent us but represent Vanguard life as a brand,” Mupfurutsa said.
Commenting on the company’s performance in 2014, Mupfurutsa said the outcome was impressive considering the uncertainty that prevailed due to the elections and unstable foreign exchange regime.
