"Africa feeds Europe", strange headline and unlikely that you have ever seen or heard it. But the reality is that 40 per cent of the food leaving Africa ends up on European tables. Sounds counterproductive right? After all is Africa not portrayed as the continent of the starving, in need of foreign aid to survive? Well that's a portrait that might be changing. With large amounts of untapped arable land Africa's agricultural trade could be worth 1 trillion US dollars by, as soon as, 2030, according to a recent World Bank report.
