Hello everyone, on this page we have a list of Malawi Stockbrokers and a list of corporate advisors and we also have some members that are official affiliates with the Malawi Stock Exchange which are called Members, and Non-members which are just brokers that are not members of the MSE. You are free to choose which broker you would want to work with to manage your investments.

Stockbrokers Malawi Limited

Stockbrokers Malawi Ltd is the first ever stockbroking company in Malawi, set up in 1994. This firm played a key role in starting the Malawi Stock Exchange and has had a hand in most of the listings on the Malawi Stock Exchange.

The company, known as SML, is officially registered as a Stockbroker according to the Securities Act of 2010. Its main job is to serve as an agent for its customers who want to put their money in the financial and securities market.

Cedar Capital Limited

Cedar Capital Ltd came into being when African Alliance pulled out from Malawi. The firm is run by Armstrong Kamphoni, an experienced investment banker and stockbroker in the Malawi financial market. He is backed by a skilled team familiar with global standards in stockbroking.

Continental Capital Limited

Continental Capital Limited, also known as “CCL”, is entirely owned by Continental Holdings Limited. The company was set up in March 2008. The Reserve Bank of Malawi has given Continental Capital the go-ahead to act as a stockbroker, deal in the money market, and also provide financial advice.

They got this license under the Capital Market Development Act.

Old Mutual Investment Group

NICO Asset Managers Limited

NICO Asset Managers Limited is a firm that focuses on investment management. They started their operations on January 1, 2009, and are officially registered with the registrar of companies under the certificate number 8854 and with the Malawi Stock Exchange as a corporate advisor.

The Reserve Bank of Malawi has granted them a license to work as a portfolio manager and transfer secretary. They have a team of 12 securities representatives, all licensed by the Reserve Bank of Malawi.
